CLIMATE CHANGE AND ENVIRONMENT ADAPTATION
Climate change is causing adverse effects in the agricultural, economic, health, and social sectors on a global scale. Smallholders and farming communities are the most affected due to the prolonged droughts and heavy rains that impede adequate production in the animal and crop value chains.
Aspire Rwanda trains smallholder farmers on climate smart agricultural practices that enable these farmers to adapt to climate change and the changing environment. They are trained in regenerative agriculture and circular farming practices that focus on natural resource management, biodiversity conservation and water management for water security for mitigation and adaptation.
